Staff members of the “Granite Office ‘Odesa 5T’” completed their participation in the Pathways2Resilience Summit 2026, held at Central European University (Budapest).

Day 3: Conclusions and Passing the Baton

The third day of the Summit was dedicated to consolidating the results achieved and outlining the next steps for cooperation.

The morning session highlighted the key takeaways from the previous days and allowed participants to align their expectations regarding the initiative’s future development. The discussion focused on strengthening interregional cooperation and long-term partnerships.

During the “Strengthening Collaborations” session, participants worked on deepening cooperation between regions, identifying common interests, and potential areas of cooperation in the field of climate adaptation.

The highlight of the day was the symbolic “Passing the P2R Torch” session—the transfer of experience from Cohort 1 regions to new Cohort 2 participants. This underscored continuity, the sustainability of approaches, and the strengthening of the Pathways2Resilience community.

The summit concluded with a summary of results and an outline of next steps, particularly regarding the further implementation of regional adaptation roadmaps, scaling up investment portfolios, and developing the P2R professional network in Europe.

Participation in the Summit allowed representatives of the “Odesa 5T” Grant Office to strengthen international partnerships, deepen their expertise on climate resilience, and integrate European experience into their ongoing work on the city’s adaptation to climate change.
