Mayor of Odesa Gennadiy Trukhanov met with the Mayor of Lichtenberg County Mr. Martin Schaefer

As part of his working visit to Berlin, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov met with the Mayor of Lichtenberg, Mr. Martin Schaefer. Lichtenberg is a district of Berlin with which Odesa is developing partnership relations.

During the meeting, they discussed the development of relations in the cultural, economic, educational and transport spheres. The mayor of Lichtenberg told about his readiness to donate cars and generators from the district's residents to Odesa.

In addition, Gennadiy Trukhanov and Martin Schaefer met with Odessans who now live in Berlin. The meeting place was symbolically chosen as Odesa Square in the district of Lichtenberg, which was so named at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in support of our city.
