The Grant Office Odesa 5T team held an online working meeting with representatives of the international initiative Pathways2Resilience (P2R) as part of the project “Integrated adaptation of coastal and urban areas to climate change for the sustainable recovery of Odesa.”

During the meeting, a working touchpoint session was held to discuss Odesa's experience of participating in the P2R program, as well as the key challenges and needs arising in the process of preparing and implementing measures to adapt the city to climate change.

The main focus was on:

• sharing experiences of Odesa's participation in the Pathways2Resilience program;

• discussing the main challenges and needs of the city in the process of preparing climate-resilient solutions;

• opportunities for using the tools of the Capacity Building and Support Platform;

• further steps in the preparation of strategic decisions for the adaptation of coastal and urban areas of Odesa.

Such consultation meetings are an important element of cooperation with international partners and contribute to the formation of effective solutions to improve the city's climate resilience.

The project aims to develop integrated approaches to adapting Odesa's coastal and urban areas to the effects of climate change, which is an important component of the city's sustainable and safe recovery.
